Biography
Lore Bits:__________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Skye was Prince Mark's consort, princess of the pride. She and Mark didn't become a couple until a lot later on in their lives, and would rule together for a short time.

Something went south with Mark and Skye. Where Eight loved and cherished all of his children equally, Mark and Skye only care about their daughter Thulile. They strictly spend their time with her, and not even their heir, Marshall. They obviously strongly dislike Marshall, and spend zero time with him, pushing him aside for Thulile. They steal all of her time training her, never letting her socialize with other lions of her age group (cubs, adolescents), and take her to many political meetings. At this point they believe she's the heir, and the king and queen never correct this.

Queen Skye's death didn't hurt the pride as much as the previous queen's death. It was sad, but not depressing. Mark became an angry king, but not to the point of tyranny.

The "Scandal:"________________________________________________
While King Mark and Laharu were trying to solve the mystery of what was causing the Great Hunger, the trio of chaos had noticed a strong surge in the number of hyena clans. They figured out that the hyena clans were uniting and killing off all of the prey and decided they had to find a way to break them up. While Rhody headed out to find the location of the united hyena clans, Lissa and Marshall sought out aid from their pride. They approached Nelly and Prophet, the two most peaceful and kind lions in the pride, and recruited them after explaining the predicament. Rhody reported back and the group prepared to head out at dawn. The night before, Prophet informed the Elites (Hale, Harlow, Apollo, and Smokey) of the situation, and they agreed to help the group sneak out. Smokey threw in her two cents and recommended they should bring a zebra carcass as a peace offering.

The group approached the united hyena clans and gave up the carcass. The gesture was received fairly well. The “Queen Mother,” as she was titled agreed to have a meeting. The entire time, the hyenas of the clans were circled around the group, sharing their own opinions amongst their selves. The commune went on for about three hours, and through Nelly and Prophet, the two parties came to a decision. The hyena clans would split if the lion prides vowed not to team up against the hyenas. As the group started to head home, and the clans beginning to split up and head their separate ways, King Mark and Laharu had spotted the group and Mark became outraged at the “traitors.” Mark began running back to his pride, while Laharu stayed behind to figure out what had transpired.

As the trio of chaos and the “duo of peace” cheerfully headed home, they were stopped in their path by the Elites and the elder Marie. They informed the group that Mark had declared them traitors for “teaming up with the united hyena clans to help kill off all of the prey and overthrow the lions of the surrounding territories.” Shocked by his father’s claim, Marshall knew they had no hope of explaining their side of the story. Lissa suggested gathering a few lions from allied prides. From there, the trio set out to gather allies. Koshni from Assane’s Pride, and Alastor, Melody, and Sienna from Malin’s Pride joined the congregation. Now that the group ranked up to fourteen, they marched back to the Floods Pride.

The Floods Pride was lined up in a battle-like position as the group approached. Mark immediately began preaching about their uprising against the lions. Thulile joined in and made a very promising argument that Rhody was responsible for the plot. Lissa, noticing Marshall had not been able to get in a single word, screamed out, “Enough!” and silenced the pride. Marshall quickly explained that the hyena clans had been killing off all the prey, and that they had merely gone to split up the clans so the prey could repopulate and replenish the lands. Queen Skye attempted to shift the blame entirely onto Rhody, and that he had tainted Marshall and the Elites’ hearts and minds. Laharu arrived shortly and threw in that the hyenas had peacefully split up across the lands. Thulile, still intending to blame the hyenas, also accused Laharu. At this point, Lissa released a battle cry and attacked Thulile. Mark and Skye attempted to join in, but they were stopped by the Elites. The lead huntress, Aline, attempted to break up the fight, but it was clear that Lissa wasn’t stopping her pursuit. After several minutes roars, hisses, and chuffs, Thulile ran. Lissa was in hot pursuit though, and was chasing her out of the pride like a king does to unwanted lionesses. Hale, Koshni, and Alastor joined in the pursuit. The pride was at a standstill.

Typically, the more males there were, the more likely a pride was to win, and in this standoff, it was Mark vs. Marshall, Prophet, Apollo, and Harlow. When the others joined back up at the standoff, it increased the male count on Marshall’s side to five. Mark had no choice but to stand down. Thulile had been chased off from the pride, and that was the law. Mark allowed the group to return to the pride, and the King and Queen refused to discuss what happened that day. Laharu briefly thanked Marshall for fixing the food problem and went on his way. The pride welcomed the rest of the group back. Koshni, Alastor, Sienna, and Melody were taken back to their prides, and the Floods Pride entered an age of division. The threat of civil war was present, but the pride now had to try to ignore it.
