Eris

Eris is trying to wake you up before dawn. No. You don't wanna. Ugh. Before dawn, they're your pride mates' cub. You ignore them as best you can.

You were having a nice conversation with Eris when she suddenly suggests heading to the jungle to look at the cool fungi! Wait, right now? Really?

an actual chicken flops on her back when you approach and tries to playfully bite you when you try to groom her.

As you come near, Eris wakes up and yawns, then tries to sit on your back and go back to sleep, making you her pillow.

Eris was the third cub born to Pitch that shared his traits. As a cub she noticed that she was larger than the other cubs, and learned to use this to her advantage. She couls often be found exploring with Ilena, using her larger size and intimidating fangs to scare off hostile creatures. She got along well with Shiro, which was surprising to the other Pride members considering Shiro's legendary sharp tongue. Shiro didn't often explore with Ilena and Eris, mostly because her white pelt stood out blindingly against the savannah and Ilena would rather not have every creature around know they were there. Eris, by extension, became good friends with Elan and joined Ilena in protecting him from Finis and his harem. She was called "Elan's freak protector" by Emera (not that she ever called Eris that in front of Finis, considering they shared the same mutation), but Eris stubbornly refused to let them go near the weaker male. When Fikile got old enough to use her size to her advantage, Eris vehemently opposed her every time she would try to bully other members of the Pride into giving her their share of meals. On the rare occasions that they came to blows, Miena would often have to intervene before the two huge lionesses tore each other to shreds. Eris became snappier after Fikile matured, as she was always on the alert, and inadvertently created a rift between her and Ilena.
