Weak and small Oyana was still a cub when she joined the Zu pride. The little cub had been left in the shadow of a tree and the freezing night had turned it into an icicle. Had Rowan Zu not been wandering his territory sleepless that night worrying about what was left of his pride, there would have been no hope for the cub.
When Oyana awoke the following morning in a cozy nest next to Rowan Zu, she secretly swore him loyalty. Although she often disagreed with him later in life, she never faltered in her devotion.
Growing up she was constantly fighting to get stronger and better. At age two the tawny lioness already outperformed most of the other huntresses in the ever-growing Zu pride.
Though she was not born a Zu no one ever dared to question her loyalty and now after more than 9 years she is the Chief Huntress of the Zu.
However, she was never her pride leaders favorite. He still finds her cold and calculated way frightening from time to time. Her first heat they spent together, but afterward, he never was with her again. This was no problem for this cunning lady who - to serve her pride best - instead gave her services to other kings. Kings who were like herself: Cold and cunning.
Now that Rowan Zu is getting older and Ur has emerged as his likely heir, she still stays true to her oath: She will not let anyone go against her leader's wishes. Even though she finds this heir to be too forgiving...
