Bumbleflight entered the nursery with Squirrelcloud walking beside her and Snowcrust happily jumping behind them. Bumbleflight spotted the other broodmothers taking care of cubs, the closest being Lightstep. The wise beauty was currently watching Ashfrost, Berryfoot, Blazingpelt, Springblossom, and of course her own cub, SIlverglow. The next lioness was Softwish, also known as the queen of the pride. She was on the second floor of the cave, which covered half of the space of the cave and at the back. Softwish was taking care of Claudia, Deepglow, Foamcloud, Graymoon, and Marigold. Of course, the gentle Rosedawn and the joyful Amberrose were helping. Bumbleflight bowed to Softwish, and Squirrelcloud copied her movements. Snowcrust, however, continued to jump around without a care. Bumbleflight flicked the novice with her tail, and Snowcrust flopped into a bow. Softwish laughed and looked back down to the cubs she was looking after, signalling Bumbleflight to move on. Bumbleflight was going to scold Snowcrust later, but now she was looking towards the older leoponess slightly behind Softwish. Ziera was taking care of Brightsun, Dandelionpelt, Firestream, Jaki, and Palemoon. Even though she was old, Ziera was still happy and full of energy. The leopon was too focused on babysitting to notice Bumbleflight enter. Speaking of Bumbleflight, she was walking towards the two cubs she was supposed to look after, and curled around them. Squirrelcloud and Snowcrust also laid down, making a triangle. Bluecloud, a female cub Bumbleflight looked after, crawled towards Squirrelcloud and fell asleep. The three laughed and chatted about the cubs.
