Bakari

Bakari huffed, his Tyrian eyes flaring with hurt. As the young cub got to his paws, he stared the other squarely in the eye.

"That hurt! Why'd you do that?" He cried, tears beginning to form.

The fellow cub, Fola, dipped her head apologetically. For a few more moments, Bakari's tears trickled down his dark cheeks. Then, slowly, he stepped forward and hugged the fellow cub.

"Hey, it's alright. Don't cry, okay? I'm fine!" He purred reassuringly, comforting his pridemate.

Bakari is a very kind soul, and he is quick to forgive those around him. The scars he carry are from an unknown source, but it's suspected that his previous pride gave them to the young cub.

When he was found, Waseme, a relatively new lioness at the time, decided to care for him, becoming the second denmother of the pride.

When approaching to greet everyone today, you managed to step on Bakari's paw. He decided to treat it as a tussle invitation which turned into a partial cuddle. -10/19/2018, Friday

You sit down with Bakari and apologize for snarling at him last night, you were just so stressed and tired. He sits next to you and shrugs while saying he didn't even notice. -12/11/2018, Tuesday
