Vervet was an easy spot on the savanna with her pinkish fur, and she was soon brought to the pridelands. Mostly ignored by her pridemates, she had more time to bond with Troupial. The two had a relationship closer than he'd had with the other lionesses, and not long after she gave birth to a cub. Upon realization this cub not only had primal genes, but smilus ones, Vervet was declared queen, and was far less ignored.
