Beans is AFAB and uses SHE/HER pronouns. She identifies as bisexual.
The first Broodmother of Elysium, Beans approaches her job with a seriousness. She understands the critical role that she plays in her kingdom, and makes it both her responsibility and priority to rear happy, healthy, and successful cubs.
Despite being trained by the pessimistic Torrent, Beans shines as the most kind and considerate Elysiumite. A gentle yet powerful figure, Beans is the embodiment of divine femininity and a role model for many members of Elysium.
A mother figure to many, Beans does not restrict herself to her sector and spends her free time bonding with fellow pride members, paying special attention to growing lions who were formerly under her care.
Due to her patient nature and bare digits, Beans was a prime candidate to work beneath Torrent and care for younglings. In the past, the Broodmother was lost and longing to participate in the activities typical of huntresses, activities she was incapable of due to her disability. Upon beginning her training, the lioness discovered an incredible passion and love for children that fulfilled her like no other. Since then, she has thrown her heart and soul into her work.
Perhaps dearest to her heart is the young Setanta. Upon his arrival, Beans swept the teen into soft and caring arms. She was determined to mend whatever needed mending, and love whatever may be broken. Since Setanta has left her care, the two have maintained a close relationship. Undoubtably, Beans sees Setanta as her own child.
Throughout his career as Sentinel of the military sector, Beans was one of the most vocal supporters of Setanta as a possible successor to King Ithaca— despite the heavy scrutiny he was subjected to by the medicinal and hunting sectors.
Since Setanta’s rise to King of Elysium, Beans continues to be his biggest cheerleader and is fully determined to remind Setanta that he will never be too old for a bit of motherly coddling.
