Feta is a dauntless lioness who knows no fear in her heart. She puts her pride and her son above everything else, but her thoughts now wander contently in the clouds in search of a family she once knew.

Life has a funny way of changing your world.
Feta was a lioness who lived in a small but loving pride, with a king who cared for all of his lionesses with kindness in his heart. She was a fearless and feisty lioness eager to prove and support her king through thick and thin and tooth and claw. Her support network consisted of many of Feta's family and friends, including her king, who ensured she lived comfortably and soundly as she protected her pridemates with the confidence and fearlessness of Apolloyn himself.
Despite all of their efforts for survival, sometimes it isn't enough.
It was the late King Murrkui who found Feta during The Great Hunger. The lioness was taking shelter underneath a fallen, rotting tree in the vast and empty savannah. The white lioness looked dirty and covered in days of grime and injuries. Her eyes looked sunken and hopeless. For a moment, Murrkui thought the lioness was an elder, chased from her pride to die alone during this harsh time of starvation. The king was horrified ,however, when the lioness proved him wrong. She revealed her only surviving family member clutched in her paws: a young adolescent male who had the overcast sky in his eyes.
King Murrkui immediately offered her a home and food, which Feta accepted. Overtime, the lioness was allowed to flourish back into health along with her son, Sumist. The adolescent had grown close with the heir Vlinoric, which brought Feta immense joy.
Life is still hard, though. Overcast days are hard on Feta. The memories still sting as if they were fresh, occupying her thoughts until it's time to hunt again. King Vlinoric swears though, that in the face of danger and pain, Feta becomes a whole new lioness. A happier, confident, and fearless lioness.

You tell Feta about this standoff you had with three dogs, and she idly wonders why you didn't just kill them all. She states the drooling mongrels fear her deadly claws.
