Little story!: Ember was greeted by a flaming hot (both literally and figuratively) winged lioness. It freaked her out a bit at first, but the stranger soon introduced herself as Jingwei, the leader of the Phoenix's Pride. Ember did find the members of this small pride odd and unique in their own ways, and she liked that. She listened to Jingwei tell stories of a land she called "Zhōngguó", watched the moon rise with Sol, and listened to the many arguments of Mary Shelley and Lord Byron. She found those arguments slightly disturbing, as they argued back and forth about anything and everything, from story-writing to reanimating the dead.

The cubs kept jumping up and down on her, nipping her ears and playing with her tail, demanding exciting stories from the other prides she visited.

Little story!: Ember was quickly accepted into Arelis' pride, many lionesses in the harem were happy to have her even though she was rather shy and on edge in the first day. By the third day she was comfortable going out with the pride to hunt, often guided along by Anja and Dana.

When Oerfaren first heard from the recent patrol that a lion was approaching the territory, he was ecstatic. He was slightly disappointed to see a female, for he preferred the company of males, but took her in nevertheless. The oddly-colored king offered her food and shelter for the next few days with the witches, where Ember helped care for the copious amount of cubs prowling the caves. The shy sub-male leading the patrol that found Ember, Damien, took quite a liking to Ember, but kept it to himself because he knew she would leave within 3 sunrises. Eventually, he decided all he could do is let her go, and gave her a gift to subtly remind her of him, and hoped that one day they would meet again.

Ember was welcomed into the kingdom of Scythe Goddard by the king himself, who was wandering the edges of his territory, mulling over the rumors of a coup that had been spreading amongst his pride. He greeted the lioness gruffly, having seen a few other so-called "Traveling Lionesses" pass through his lands before, before begrudgingly leading her back to the dens, where a little male cub came bounding up to her, asking if she was a "travellelleller" like his mommy. She nodded, saying she was, before padding over to where the lionesses were resting, the cub hot on her heels. "Doc," one of them lovingly chastised, "are you supposed to be away from your brother?" The little one shook his head, and Ember held back her giggles as he slunk back over to the sub-male who looked to be watching the cubs. After a few days of hunting with the other lionesses (and playing with the cubs- especially Doc), Ember decided she needed to move on, and bid her farewells to the pride. Just before she left, though, Doc came bounding out of the cave, yelling about coming with her. Ember shrugged. As long as his mother was okay with it, she supposed, and left the lands of Scythe Goddard.
