You couldn't help but wonder why everyone seemed to be snickering at you today. Is there something on your face? Ruby looks a little too innocent.
Ruby is sitting in the grass looking bummed. You pick them up by the scruff of the neck and carry them to your sleeping spot, where you groom them until they feel better.
You went up to munch more on a carcass you started eating yesterday. As you bite in, a spider suddenly scurried out of a hole in it! You heard Ruby cackle nearby. Thanks for the heart attack.
As you pace around your pride, you suddenly feel watched. You look behind you to spot Cub crouched in the grass, butt wiggling and ready to pounce!
You were enjoying a nice sunbeam when something began clawing your tail. Ah, it's Cub. Ouchie, please leave some fur on there, little one.
You see Cub playing tag with Grandpaw 🐗 King Hoary 🐗. Aww, look at those two go! ... Wow, did Grandpaw 🐗 King Hoary 🐗 actually manage to exhaust a full-energy cub this fast? ... And now it looks like he's trying to race with a cheetah. You shake your head. Seems like some things never change, no matter how old he gets.
After noticing the poorly hidden smirk on Ruby's face, you didn't fall for any of her tricks no matter how much she tried to fool you.
Finding herself in her element, Ruby found it all too easy to pounce on today's target.. .and most of the other cubs too. Sigh.
You changed up the course when it was Ruby's turn so she couldn't cheat. Afterwards, she sulked and stuck her tongue out at you, declaring you a “big meanie”. You’re also sure you heard her mumbling under her breath... now you don’t exactly feel safe.
After Ruby loses a race in the training area, they've decided they're done for the day - no more training for this sore loser. Grandpaw 🐗 King Hoary 🐗 pulls them away and gives them some sound advice on how to be quick and nimble.
Following a beetle too intently, Ruby wandered off from the rest of the group when you weren't looking only to come running back with an angry wildebeest bull chasing after her. You jumped into action and scared off the beast, but Ruby was understandably too shaken up to continue today.
