Shaka

Nothing would calm down the wailing Shaka until they were passed to Grandpaw Cullen 🌺's paws. The old lion smothers Shaka with his mane until they start giggling.

Shaka wrestled briefly with their pridemate until they had them pinned and then began to groom their face, much to their pridemate's chagrin.

When Shaka darts to Grandpaw Cullen 🌺 with a small rodent in their jaws, Grandpaw Cullen 🌺 tells them how wonderfully they'd done, and says they'll make an excellent hunter in the future.

You see Grandpaw Cullen 🌺 giving some heartfelt advice to Shaka about how to treat the lionesses properly. The cub was listening well enough, which relieves you. In your opinion, they could definitely use some work on that subject!

Sneakily, Shaka pounced on her pridemate to initiate a surprise grooming session.

Shaka wanted to play "Lion, Lion, Hyena!" with their siblings today, but they were pushed out of the group and teased for being a little crycub. You were about to go over and see if they were okay when Grandpaw Cullen 🌺 arrived, telling the little cub not to mind the others too much, and that he would be happy to play instead. Brightening up immediately, Shaka clambers up onto the great lion's back and the two go off to play elsewhere, while Grandpaw Cullen 🌺 tells an interesting story about meeting a lion called Apedemak... or was that Apollyon?

After Shaka was pushed into the mud by an elder sibling, Grandpaw Cullen 🌺 was the first to pick them up and give them a bath. Even as Shaka sniffles, Grandpaw Cullen 🌺 gives them some good advice on what to do next time.
