Mganga was annoying, yes, but she loved her so much, she loved King Domeki as well for saving her from the hyenas. Ripple watched with pride as the old witchdoctor taught her everything she knew, all the while being a perch for some critter that she had rescued. Ripple had noticed that most of the animals in Mganga's cave gave her a wide berth save for the crows and a few select birds, could it be the spirits following her? Ripple had always been able to see and commune with the dead. She had yet to tell Mganga, THAT was why they had chased her from her previous pride.
