Biography
Timber’s body was low to the ground, her hind legs flexed as she readied herself to pounce. It was midday maybe, with the sun peaking through the leaves making wonderful patches in the grass when she spotted a small zebra foal all alone. It was the perfect day for predators and prey to have their lunch and Timber was keen on not disappointing Dawn. Her pink eyes hardened slightly and she jumped into the air, into the light which reflected her eyes causing them to appear honey gold and her fur to seem almost a light gold color. Both her front and back claws flexed and twitched right before they landed on the small foal, her mouth instinctively went towards its throat to finish the deed quickly.

The foal didn't seem to see it coming, not even when she jumped had it flinched and that was exactly what she wanted to happen. As long as the wind was flowing towards her no prey could smell her scent and as long as she was behind them, Hidden in the dark, it was fairly easy.
The only issue was that Dawn is a lion that’s incredibly hard to please and this was already her third solo hunt of the morning. She was afraid that if she kept killing the prey she had previously hunted won't reach the limit of freshness for her queen who she was deeply loyal too so the option was either be punished with food that wasn't fresh (as in hunted and brought in as soon as possible) or be punished for bringing too little.. Timber didn't mind the cruel punishments she often got, manipulated to think that everything was fair and just. What she was afraid of is the look of disappointment on her queen’s face... It haunted her and made her feel queasy. It was horrible and it was more taunting than death.

So instead of hunting for more she went to start her journey from the hunting grounds with the little prey she got surely to a feature disappointed Queen.
