Once, a sweet and loving cub, unfortunately turned evil by demon possession, Slick is an aggressive lion who was banished from the throne due to his cruel and selfish nature. Old king Sionsis refused to let his kingdom fall into the paws of a wicked cat such as Slick and this replaced him with the barely two year old (yet much kinder and a better choice than Slick) at the time, King Arlo Astrophel. Slick was allowed to stay in the pride so long as he followed King Arlo's rule and didn't bring harm to any of the other pride lions.
