Under SUNWAVES rein
From a dear friend's lioness, Crow, who was a beautiful noctis base, hoping Brownpelt would've came out like her. She didn't, but he still loved her.
Brownpelt knew why Sunwave loved her mother so much. Why he waited so long for her. Because he wanted a void-black cub, a sleek, pretty abyssal-furred lioness to keep in his pride and cherish. she wasn't anywhere near that. she was a brown lioness, not black. If she wasn't what she was born for, then what was the point? What was the point in any of this?..
Brownpelt walked into Sunwave's den, seeing him claw out roots and leaves with his claws as he frowned and mumbled. "Father? Sunwave?" she said quietly, catching his attention and making him turn. "Yes?" he smiled at her. She hesitated before coming closer. "Can I ask you something?" She whispered. He nodded and motioned his with his tail for her to sit down. "Sunwave, are... are you going to kick me out the pride? Send me back to my mothers?" She asked, her eyes clouded. Sunwave's eyes widened. "What? Of course not! Your my lioness! I would never leave you out in the wilderness to fend for yourself, its a rough time of year, if i did that, I would never forgive me." He roared. She bent her head. it was nice to hear that, but did he mean it? "It's because of the reason me and Crow mated, isn't it? Well, I blame bad genetics." Sunwave turned his pink muzzle toward her as she looked at him questioningly. "What?" She asked. "Bad genetics. I mean, your mothers beautiful, and you are too. It is true I wanted you to be a noctis, or dark of some sort, but thats MY fault. i mean, look at me!" He got up and twisted his body before slumping on his haunches. "I'm orange with a red mane, pink muzzle and paws, and some noticeable black on my underside!' She wondered if she should laugh, but when she saw the gleam of amusement in Sunwaves eyes, she couldn't contain herself. "You'll always be my cub. And i'll support you no matter what." He smiled at her and licked her ear, at least he loved her.
