He's nice and all, sure, he plays rough with his siblings, and even has a tendency to leave a couple scars behind in his wake, but he's not dangerous! Despite this, Bosozoku has a tendency to make Hypno keep his distance from his older brother, Weatherday, after all, if the spotted cub got injured, Moira would have her head!
See, Moira had a tendency to pamper his mutated offspring quite a bit more than the usual ones, if he were to see Weatherday injured, he probably wouldn't take very kindly to it, after all, it was Bosozoku's job to keep her cubs safe! Even more so, since Weatherday was to be sent off to be his own king as soon as he was weaned from the lioness, wouldn't want to send the cub off in more than one piece.
Hypnothorean was rather aggressive as he grew older, though, and, once he was old enough to catch small vermin like mice and moles, he insisted Weatherday go with him and play, after all, Bosozoku was asleep, she couldn't stop them now! He and Weatherday left the den quietly, running around just outside the camp area, after multiple rounds of rough-housing, and a couple instances of Weatherday winning the fights, Hypno's jealousy rose, and soon, they broke into a full-on battle, they were only cubs, sure, but Hypno was easily overpowering the smaller cub through his anger.
Bosozoku was soon woken by Weatherday's yelling for help, and the lioness intervened just before Hypno had taken a chunk from the spotted cub's throat. Bosozoku had grabbed Hypnothorean angrily, though she had grabbed much too hard and in the wrong area, and she felt a crack beneath her jaws, and the taste of blood filled her mouth as she felt the cub go limp in her jaws.
Weatherday, his green pelt now splattered in red, screamed and froze, shivering, sharing the same horror that his mother had also now had on her face. Hypno was dead, though, of course, Moira barely cared, after all, the brat was putting their money on the line!
