Mezelin

Mezelin is marked by the Night, something that a shaman once described as a curse. Decades ago, a Great War happened following the appearance of a whole group of strange lions calling themselve "Children of the Night". Since then, a feline born with that particularity is often seen as a bad omen. A potential sign of a new war, a resurgency of something everyone in these lands thought ended for good.

Mezelin seems to have inherited it from her mother, Prism. But the darkness is more present on her.. And she seems to be weaker than her mom when it comes to fight against it.

Since her childhood, she´s quite talented to find troubles. Melezin does her best to not listen their whispers, but it´s sometimes harder than expected. Her mother tries to help her handle it.

She seems to become more sarcastic as she grow older. Less social, also..

She gave birth to a cub with white matks, the opposite of hers. The cub is told to be "blessed by the moon".. Members of the pride are telling her birthing a blessed cub is a sign that the darkness inside her is fading, that the Moon still watches upon her as well. But no matter what, Mezelin almost feels envious thowards her own daughter for being "blessed", while she is viewed by others as a cursed one.

The lioness often isolate herself from the pride and it usn´t rare for the clan to not see her for days. What she does during her absences is a mystery.
