When Midsummer gave birth to Rose, she decided to name them after her caregiver and mentor. She raised them away from the pride, even when Astrea took over. It wasn't due to lack of trust towards the new leader, it was just the way Beauty was raised herself. It was clear Beauty loved Rose and their sister, Lily, and was ready to go to great lengths to ensure their safety. However, the day had to come when she'd have to pass away. On her death bed she told Rose a secret she kept for herself for a very long time. Now Rose has to make a choice of either keeping it to themselves like their mother did, or tell it to someone from the pride. They aren't really sure which option is best.


Rose's character is pretty similiar to their mother's. They are a carefree, jolly and a little snarky lioness, who can be timid at times. They don't like conflict and prefer to stay away from those. They would like to have fun with their friends instead. They are also quite playfull and will often act like a small cub when around their friends.

Happy but intimidated by your attention, Ophelia Rose greets you shyly, then backs away to give you some space.

You greet Ophelia Rose perhaps a bit too enthusiastically. She just squeaked and ran off. Oops.

You were napping, but some movement caught your attention. Ophelia Rose was coming towards you with a gerbil snack, but then she stopped. Walked away. Came back. Now she looks like she wanted to bolt. You closed your eyes and pretended to be asleep still, and she finally delivered her gift to you.

As you walk up to Ophelia Rose, she hunkers down a little, whispering back a greeting as she stares at you in awe.
