Uzuri Is an elderly lioness, finding herself in the desolate lands that Imechomwa claims as their home, ranges of mountainous terrain with lush vegetation, nestled neatly around a spring among the rocky overlook, all while surrounded by early regrowth from a forest fire. Uzuri herself comes from a scarred past, her pelt telling tales of her various victories in her last pride, and her reign before now. Now she is an elder, which makes her slow and sore too quick to keep up her position.
Her last home was taken over by a band of brothers, driving her away as she was carrying her last litter. Uzuri was quickly accepted into Imechomwa, her unborn litter and all. Under the care of Denali the pride queen, Uzuri finally had her litter, pair of healthy cubs, one being a favorite of Imechomwa's queen. naming her Asubuhi for the morning she was born.

Uzuri was happy to remain among the pride, unable to be a shaman herself, she's eager to help her daughter learn and grow, and while she herself will not be a shaman, she enjoys the nature of the pride, often standing watch over her newfound family while they conduct ceremonies, and will even help collect herbs and charcoal alongside the pride. She considers this her retirement, no longer fearing for her safety and her health.
