In the heart of the savannah, a lioness stood apart,
With a dark pelt, a hidden art,
Misunderstood and shunned, her path was thorny,
Tusks grew over time, a tale quite extraordinary.
Her piebald coat made her different, a striking sight,
Yet, the lions and cubs judged, not knowing her plight,
In their eyes, her tusks marked her as wrong,
A lioness in isolation, where she didn't belong.
But in the shadows, she found solace anew,
Among the mice and guinea pigs, a friendship crew,
They saw her for her heart, not her tusk's wild crest,
A bond that gave her strength, in that realm she was best.
To shield her from judgment and the world's disdain,
She donned a black mane, to hide the pain,
And a lion's skull, her mask, her disguise,
A symbol of her strength, hidden in her eyes.
Her dark pelt concealed the kindness within,
A gentle lioness, misunderstood, in her sin,
Though the world saw evil in her dusky shade,
It was the love she gave that should not fade.
For in her heart, the rarest beauty did reside,
A lioness with tusks, and nowhere to hide,
In the company of the small and meek,
She found the acceptance that others did not seek.
A lioness, misunderstood, with a story to tell,
In the tapestry of life, she bore her own spell,
With dark pelt and tusks, a soul so unique,
A lesson in compassion, for all to seek.
