From a young age, George knew one thing: he was destined for nothingness. He saw it in the eyes of the other lionesses whenever they looked from Finn to him. It was in the way his mother would sometimes have tears welling in her eyes when she thought he wasn’t paying attention. And most clearly of all, it was in his reflection every time he stopped at the watering hole for a drink. He only felt comfortable bringing it up to Finn, but his brother always claimed that George’s option of himself was completely wrong. He tried to live his life normally, but there was always that little voice whispering, “You are nothing.” You hear from another pride mate that George Buttersworth was telling them that he could beat you in a fight. Oh really? You'd like to see him try.
