Kavu is Shetani’s son with Mruki, one of the King’s final cubs. He is only the second male cub to inherit Mruki’s eyes and mane type, he would have been in the running for heir. Too bad he was born after Mruki’s death. His name means ‘arid’. Kavu is extremely self-absorbed. He thinks he’s the most beautiful, most clever, most perfect lion there ever was, and whenever his friends get bored of his boastful stories of his greatness, he’s prone to talking to himself. When Kavu is 9 months old, the Kalahari Pride broodmothers are overwhelmed with an unexpected baby boom, and he is one of four cubs who fosters in the Hidden Valley Pride for a few months. His foster mom is Yrian Sunshine. ~You thought Kavu was dutifully trying to catch fish for the pride, but it turned out he was just admiring his reflection. What a buttmunch.
