Biography
Astéri came from a distant pride after a serious fight with her mother, the most cherished huntress of all lionesses. The younger female disliked the way she was treated by her own mother, being constantly put down for not knowing certain techniques or hunting moves that her sisters were already perfecting. It didn't seem fair to measure love based on her abilities — that she could, and would!, improve, mind you. Her mother argued that life was simply like that, but Astéri couldn't believe that lions were like that everywhere. It just didn't make sense. And so, she left on a whim, leaving her mother angry and embarrassed for having such a difficult cub. "You'll return in no time, stubborn child!" She yelled. But Astéri never returned. Instead, she ended up in the Salvhara lands, reign of Queen Iremía, the Protector. Living up to her name, the beautiful lioness took Astéria in, and told her to stay for as long as she'd like, even if it meant to live there. She told about her hunting skills, that they needed improvement, and Iremía laughed. "Of course. We are constantly improving, every single time. If you can kill prey and cooperate with the other lionesses, it's fine." In that moment, Astéri was in love. Little by little, Astéri got used to the ways of the Salvhara Pride. Life was good there. And her love for the Queen only grew more and more. She was constantly feeling embarassed and flustered, especially because Iremía seemed to hang out with her a lot. Just the two of them. Alone. Astéri felt like she would explode at any moment. Falling in love with the Queen felt like the silliest of the things and she needed to get that out of her head. Little did she know, Iremía was in love with her too. And so, Astéri became Queen Astéri, wife of Iremía.
