upon the ravaged mountaintops, snow rages like a blizzard. through the howling wind and heavy snowfall, you appear to catch a faint glimpse of a darker furred individual. at first you wonder if it is a male - a pride leader, in fact, but as she draws near you are able to note subtle features that differentiate her from that. this is a lioness, one who seems to wander through this storm with ease having bigger paws and a well-tuned frame for traversing the harsh climate. unsure of how to feel, you lay frozen in the snow as she draws near. a puff of air from her nose leaves a cloud of wind that quickly fades as the elements pick up and it is then that you understand that this lioness will share no formalities, though it doesn't appear to stop her from helping. she offers to help you up, and proceeds to lead you toward her pride's home cave. just what is this pride doing all the way up here? who is she?
