Zoro

Zoro is not a very impressive lion, he has very little mane, mottled looking fur, and more brawn than brains. He took to Kozah pretty quickly, breaking off from a quad group of his brothers to join the North pride as a second in command. He was always seen as inferior or less than by his older, fuller maned, smarter brothers, and was tired of being considered so disposable. In the North pride, Zoro is almost indispensable. The young male patrols and scent marks the borders, helps the queens stay in the know about the travels of prey, and has even aided in more than a fight or two. Kozah likes the younger male because in the way of his personality and past, it reminds the king of his own. These days, Zoro helps "dispose" of the cubs Kozah culls for not meeting expectations, helps the female adolescents learn to hunt, patrol, and fight as well as keeps both Kozah and his favorite queens in the know about their territory and of the rumors of the prides that surround it. Zoro tries to take care of what cubs come into the southern den before they transition out of the pride, but his unscrupulous nature does not make him the best at this and typically delegates that to one of the southern denmothers to deal with.
