~This beautiful rosette man? Gonna be a prince someday oh yeah. Gonna take on the world with his dad. The lion bards will all write songs and hopefully you'll sing along. But he's gonna be anything but bad oh yeah. Top of his class, top of the world, gonna find time for all the girls. Follow his father's big pawprints, he's got big claws to fill, oh he's got big steps to fill~
He's gonna be a mighty king, like no king was before.
Look at those short adorable legs, her cute overbite, and giant ears! Black Ear likes to give unsolicited advice, but she also likes to inflate Sorrel Wings' ego, so he allows her to follow him around. He won't admit it, but he likes the attention.
As you approach, Sorrel Wings runs up to greet you, licking your face and flicking his tail against your shoulder in a playful way.
"Hey son, ready for your new look?"
Sorrel looked back at his brown coat, how plain it was, how sad...
"Yeah, Dad!"
Anyone in the mood for an undercooked lion?
Sorrel Wings bumped your forehead when you came to say hello and asked how you were doing.
Sorrel Wings welcomes you with an open greeting, rubbing his side against yours.
Everyone knew Sorrel Wings was the heir. Some of the younger lionesses had even begun flirting with him instead of Golden Wings. The newest adolescents, Day Lily and Falling Snow, began spending time with him. Day seemed particularly interested in him, until Glittering Onyx decided she wanted his attention instead.
"Dad? I need help!"
This big, fluffy and absolutely adorable primal huntress will make your day all better.
Sorrel Wings has been following his father when he has the time, especially when visiting other prides, but until now Sorrel has not had the official title he should. Golden Wings makes his chosen son the ambassador to other prides, and also other carnivore packs. Word spreads quickly, no doubt helped by Golden Wings and his own father, who is very loud after all, and soon Sorrel has many friends across the savanna from different species.
Great Fang, the mutant lioness ousted from her own heartless pride for her scary appearance, is docile and loving in her new home.
The genet mates stay with Sorrel Wings most of the time, sheltering from bigger threats.
And finally, the lonely wild dog, Bao, unwanted by her pack. She still checks in on them and the pride has cordial relations with the neighboring hunting dog pride, but she secretly resents their sick formalities and only goes back when Sorrel needs something. He usually doesn't let her go alone, however, which makes things easier.
When Golden Wings is no longer the king, it will be a very different pride. A pride that is strangely allied with all the other thinking beings in the savanna. Will Golden Wings be proud or repulsed with the way his pride has gone?
When you approached him, Sorrel Wings licked your ear to welcome you today.
