Part 1. This young cub started his life with a family who knew he was going to be someone far too special to keep just another sub male, so his mother took the mission to personally get the two of them far far from home while she still held him safely inside her, with a trust fund of 14gb to send back home a deal was made on the deck of a ship sailed by a seal! he and his mother were welcomed to their new home only a few hours after the deal, deep in the Alaskan woods.
part 2. Named Andromeda after a place far into the stars, the newborn cub that came to us 5 months ago has made all the lionesses fall for him, gifting him left and right with the tastiest bits of meat, Andromeda knows all to well that he is special, prancing around the dens with his chin held high.
Unfortunately knowing he is special just made it that much harder to raise him as he is known for taking risks to impress the lionesses around him. The king, now his father and mentor is doing his best to raise him to be kind, this little cub has stolen even his big heart.
part 3. Andromeda took every word and lesson from his king to heart, strong and kind he makes his father proud every day as he helps on patrols with no fear around the other males, and learns how to hunt with large reaching claws from the females.
The sub males were not happy with the thought of some random cub being the heir at first, why would their king allow this when they are already here? any one of them could be a king if something happened, but after watching this cub grow and grow, it became clear that the choice was made well.
Now full of new hormones his female company has to remind him that a good king never demands farther attentions, they are given when they are earned, though his growing body makes him angry he has thankfully never tried to strike one either, it would not go well for him.
Soon Andromeda will take his throne as he was always meant to, his mother proudly watching him earn his place, there are still months of learning ahead of him however he is ready to take on the challenge, what ever it takes to make his pride stronger.
part 4. Andromeda's king began to feel his strength passing, with a great roar he announced that a new age of the pride would begin by the next rise of the sun.
Andromeda was given the last name "Jay" stated by his old king to mean that Andromeda will be "joyful around youth" as only the young and his people will know the caring side of him, all others will know his wrath.
Choosing the nick name Andra Jay or just Jay, Andromeda found the first few days to be exhausting, throwing large expensive parties and giving gifts to the lionesses to celebrate his new leadership and show his people he will greedily hold none of his hoard, choosing to make his pride the center of his new world.
Known outside his pride as a savage killer, showing no mercy, leaving his enemies at the borders to rot and telling scavengers to drag them off for free, inside the pride Jay was a kind leader, he spent time with his cubs, gave his lionesses all they asked for, cared for the old and pregnant, gave goods to the needy by creating a clan exchange under a tall birch, and even adopted abandoned cubs that his lionesses couldn't bare to leave in the cold.
