As you pad quietly through the savannah, a gentle rhythmic thumping can be heard somewhere on the path ahead. ... What is that sound? As you pick up the pace and walk closer, it gets louder and what was just a sound in your ear...turns into shaking under your paws. As you poke your head around a bush, you are startled to see such a hulking lion laying next to a tiny black serval kit, grooming it gently and thumping his stub of a tail to the beat of a song. A song coming from a human radio? ...How'd he get that... He turns to meet your gaze and he smiles softly. "Howdy stranger~ Music a bit too loud? Sorry about that, we're just enjoying a calm evening~" The massive Smilus moves to let you see his serval kit friend, and she smiles at you. A small mouse rests in his mane, and a strange dragon creature is curled up at his side. "This here is Cleo~ Thats Horace and the lil squeak in my fur is Izzy~ And I.." He stands to greet you. "Am Thanatos~ But you can call me Than~" He speaks so gently for a creature as intimidating as he looks. He smiles at your obvious nerves. "I dont bite~ Promise~ What brings you to my neck of the...not woods?" You gulp and explain you were just on a night stroll, and didnt mean to intrude. "Nonsence!" Thanatos barks, breaking into a chuckle, "No intrusion here! But we wont keep you~ Here!" Thanatos turns and hands you a hunk of his dinner and 7 silver beetles! "Seven is my lucky number~ We'll see you around, yeah? Have a nice stroll~" You walk away confused...but pleasantly surprised at your encounter. ... But how did he get that radio...and why's he listening to phonk??
