Azaad is the second king of the pride. A sweet, kind lion, he is unfazed by the difficult task of being the leader of a pride. While good-natured and caring towards his pridemates, he is a bit oblivious and has a very poor sense of direction. He got along well with the previous king, Patchi, who raised him in his formative years to be his heir His mother was a Leopon, which is evident from his shiny, golden Kimanjano fur (which he takes great pride in!)
