Biography
Only son of Kimbingu, Mawingu is a gorgeous and strong lion, a bit naïve, but with a heart of gold. He was considered a ray of hope among the pride since his mother Kimbingu managed to conceive him in secrecy during Hakuna Nywele's tyrant reign. When Mawingu was born, his mother and pridesisters did their best to pass him up as a lioness to protect him, which became more difficult and risky as the cub reached his adolescence and his mane began to grow. Thankfully, Upendo took back the throne by then, and to everyone's delight he decided to name Mawingu his heir. Mawingu is Abadan's best friend, a surprise to some considering he's Hakuna's son, but they were both raised together by the same lionesses and their bond is strong. Mawingu trusts Abadan like a brother, so he kept his role as Regent even after Upendo's passing, and together they brought an age of prosperity to the pride. Mawingu took Haki as his only royal mate all throughout his life; while he did sire many cubs both outside and within the pride, Mawingu only bestowed the royal family name to the Queen's offspring. His first litter cub is Chokaa. His second litter cub is Uaminifu. His third litter cubs are Vitunguu and Laini. His fourth litter cubs are Shwari and Mbali. His fifth litter cubs are Mapigo and Mpole. His sixth litter cubs are Mkali and Thabiti. His seventh litter cub is Thamani. His eighth litter cub is Karanga. His ninth litter cubs are Kioo and Fahari. His tenth litter cub is Kumbatio. His eleventh litter cub is Povu. His twelveth litter cubs are Makini and Moja. His thirteenth litter cub is Kifahari.
