Rebelmane was born as Mwasi. Meaning rebel in swahili. As he grew older his father could see the potential he had at leading his pride one day. Until one horrible day when an opposing male came fought Mwasis father for leader of his pride. Mwasi father, known as Strongmane, fought his final battle that day. The new leader of the Pride was named Mbaya, he became known as Rulingmane. Rulingmane saw the cubs of late Strongmane and he knew they were a threat to his newly claimed pride. He killed them all except for one, Mwasi. Mwasi ran as far and as fast as he could until he found a lone lioness who has just lost all her cubs to a flood. She took him in and raised him until he was old enough to fend for himself. Mwasi knew his father would be proud of him, he found his first young lioness and gave himself the name Rebelmane, knowing he would never let another male kill him like he what happened to his father. He carrys on Strongmanes legacy everyday.
