Matumaini can look like a grumpy guy, you are not wrong, he is! but he also has a very soft spot when it comes to his pride, yeah he does not really like to spend time with cubs, but that doesn't mean he will mistreat them, he will offer to take care of them so his queens can have some free time, speaking of queens, he can be very sweet with them! even if sometimes he has a cold tone, is not fully like that, he cares...but hates to show his soft side. Son of Kora and a Ferus, Matumaini wasn't the first choice as an heir, The Golden King, Ufalme, was looking for someone to take him, he had no problem with Kora having a cub with another male, his main problem was that he had no place for Matumaini on his pride, in some way, this gave Matumaini his grumpy personality, seeing how the king desperately tried to find someone to adopt him make him feel quite sad, in some part because he felt that no one wanted him and because he felt that he wasn't needed on his own pride. As time passed and Matumaini grew up, Hal, Ufalme's sub male, began to take him on patrols so he could be ready to take care of himself in case he had to become a rogue, he gained experience and Ufalme noticed this, he began to catch interest on the young male, eventually, he decided to train him as his heir.
