Juncos was not originally born in the Supernova Pride. She was born in the fields just outside of Supernova territory under the starlit sky during a full moon. Her mother did not live to see her even open her eyes. Juncos was found by the pride's elderly ruling leader, Sovereign Queen Hexcode, and taken in. The two grew extremely close, becoming mother and daughter alongside Queen Hexcode's true wife; Royal Queen Andromeda. On the night before Princess Juncos' 3rd birthday, a sign came from the stars. A meteor shower accompanied by a flock of juncos. A sign seen by both Queen Hexcode and Queen Andromeda. This sign could only mean one thing. Queen Hexcode was dying; and Princess Juncos was to take over. They had prepared her all they could in case she were to be chosen or so she could teach the next queen. A ceremony was held the next morning where Princess Juncos was named the queen's heir apparent. Queen Hexcode reassured her daughter that she would watch her from the stars and never be far away. Queen Hexcode passed on before the moon had set that night and Princess Juncos became the Sovereign Queen. She vowed to make her mothers proud and keep the pride strong.
