Studding Services
This male lion is offering studding services, for a price of 100 SB. Lionesses must have a minimum of 10% fertility to breed.

This male lion has 15/15 studding slots left open this week.

* Selecting an item to send with the request will remove the item from your hoard and apply it to the stud if your request is accepted. If your request is removed or denied for any reason the item will be returned to you. Multiple items can be sent at the same time providing they do not cancel each other out in their effects.

* Breeding to a mutated stud does not affect your chances of conceiving a mutated cub unless the stud is a variation of piebald or primal.

Blazing Mane, just Blaze for his friends, heralds from the land of ash and fire, or "The Firelands", as those who live there know it as. There, under the shade of a local volcano, surrounded by volcanic activity and walking among ash and coal, rules an old royal family. This family was once the most powerful of Savannah, or so they say. Their lands were bountiful, their herds would reach all the way to the borders. But then the volcano erupted, killing many animals, including some of the pride's lions. Their home ruined, and half of the pride either dead or dying, any loving king or queen would have taken their pride and moved. But unfortunately the king had died while attempting to save his family, and his wife was slowly dying of grief and the poisonous air. So the crown fell upon the only living royal that remained. The king's brother, who, despite his royal blood, or perhaps because of it, was as unpredictable as a wild dog with rabies. He decided not to abandon the lands of his forefathers and rebuild their home, stronger and better.

Now, years later, that dream is yet to be fulfilled. The crazy king still reigns, and still tells his lions and lionesses the same stories of how their forefathers and mothers build the pride on a dead field, and how they must do the same, or else let their ancestors down. The crazy king had three daughters, all as beautiful as the sun in the sky, now clouded by the grey soot. And one son, as clear in mind as the skies above. But alas, when the king looked at his children, all he saw were four disappointments. Three females and a male who wanted to abandon their homeland.

"For the sake of our people" had his son begged. His son had the audacity to say their people were getting weaker each day. Food was scarce and lions were born sick due to the toxic air. But the king was too proud, too blind, to see the truth in his son's words. So when his son once more begged for his father to let the lions and lionesses go, find a better home somewhere else, he struck his son with anger, and told him to leave, and never return.

That son, as you must have realized, was Blaze. Chased from his former home, from his loving sisters and mother, from his friends and pride-sisters and brothers, Blaze wandered, unsure of what to do. One day, he met a white lion, around his age. He too had been chased from his home. The two started an unlikely alliance, and as they grew, so did their pride. Their pride now consists of lions and lionesses who all had to leave their homes for reasons beyond their grasp, or who had sought freedom to do as they pleased.

Blazing Mane is now the leader of this pride. Not exactly the king, as he has no kingdom, but the one who makes the biggest decisions. He misses his family dearly, but is scared of going back due to his father's words of cowardliness. Would it truly be a disappointment for the ancestors were they to leave their burned and ruined homelands..?

Relationships
Snowstalker - Blaze's first friend in the outside world. They have their squabbles, but in the end, they trust each other fully. Blaze finds his pride brother very handsome and brave, but is afraid of losing him as a friend if he confesses.
Diver - Second member of Blaze's pride. She and Blaze disagree on a lot of things, but in the end they both just crave stability. Finds her impossible to talk to sometimes, but agrees that she is a talented huntress and a fighter.
Boulderbreaker - Good friend and associate. Whenever Blaze can't speak of his problems to someone, he goes to Boulder.
Tree Jumper - Good friend and adopted little sister. Blaze sees Jumper's energetic nature as annoying sometimes, but the amount of positive energy has gotten the group out of a lot of problems in the past, and Blaze appreciates it greatly. Wants to do nothing but protect his lil' sister from the dangers of the world.
Dune Dasher - Dasher's survival skills are sublime, and Blaze respects them greatly. He sees Dasher as a valuable asset to the pride and a good pride-sister. They aren't exactly friends, but like each other.
Kindheart - Sees Kind as sort of a big brother/father figure he has always lacked in his life. He trusts Kind's visions completely and finds his talents in herbs extremely useful. He feels like Kind has always been there to help him during his darkest hours, without realizing that he himself has done the same for Kind.
Straggler - He sort of gave the name to him by accident by calling him that when they first met, and the name stuck. Blaze was first unsure if he could trust Straggler, but sees that he makes Kind happy. He is also very smart and knows many stories and legends, as well as the ways of the surrounding prides, so he is useful, even when he is a bit dainty for a rogue.
