Biography
Cain is the pride founder and values them above all. He wants the best life for them and prioritizes defense, solidarity, and upbringing of the young.

Cain can be a ruthless defender, perceiving most territorial interlopers as a threat. Battered by hundreds of perceivably righteous battles, Cain knows bearing his scars with pride is something he wholeheartedly earned. However, Cain is quiet about his victories and even prefers that his marks aren’t acknowledged by his pridemates. The end result of a secure pride to come home to is enough and on occasion, Cain contemplates if he is too quick to act in battle. Members of the Barbary Lands have demanded duels against the leader Cain, much to his confusion.

Within his pride, Cain values the closeness of its members. He is satisfied with supporters to fall onto and a warm nest amongst them. There is not a fervent demand for authority under his reign, contrasting Cain’s early perceptions of pride hierarchy. Likewise, Cain wishes to be the same figure of support for his pridemates. Time spent lying back with his pride builds up the group in the same way defending, patrolling, and hunting does.

Cain can easily be identified by his fatherly nature. He is paternal towards the prides’ cubs, regardless of whether they are his blood. He is happy to teach, care for, and support the pride’s progeny. His protective nature is especially true for the young. Beyond the pride, Cain looks out for the young and never takes them as a threat.
