King ⊹・Abaddon・⊹ The Peace Bringer As King Caravaggio continued to fall deeper into his madness, despite his twilight years heavily laying on the shoulders of his advisors, Sibyl, the Holy prophet and ever the wise, understood an heir had to come to light soon, lest The Cavern fall into a permanent disarray. The previous kings until now had been seen through visions by their predecessors. Sibyl was the first of her kind; a Holy force in direct opposition to the Royal power in an attempt to keep the peace in the face of their murderous tyrant. With the help of her apprentice Rani and resident broodmother Mona, under the guise of meditation in preparation of the prince and princesses' coronations, Sibyl lay hidden in the mossy nook for 6 moons under a hallucinogen induced comatose. When she awoke, she seemed more calm than any of the royal perch advisors had since Caravaggio came into power. She spoke of their previous kings, Odilio; The Impending Storm, and of Hiatum; The Great Father. She recalls long and tiresome conversations regarding the pride and it's current ruler, of how the advisory had changed, and what a welcome decision it was to have Sibyl hold precognition prowess rather than the King. But above all they spoke at great lengths about the governing future of the pride. There were hushed whispered about a possible assassination to allow for a rushed replacement, maybe taking on an older male from another pride, someone to allow the pride to lean on during the transition period. Or maybe an organized coup and consequential fight for power. But in the end, Odilio ended up stalking off, returning a night or two later clutching the scruff of a cub made of light. It took about a week after Sibyl awoke before that same cub appeared in the nook over night. Though far less bright and much more weak, he hid amongst the cubs Caravaggio so graciously decided to spare the lives of.
