Solaris was the Prince of the Stars, praised for his cruelty to living beings and stuck in the shadow of his older brother, Astrophel. Once, long ago, he had lived lavishly among his fellow gods in the sky. This didn't last long though and he grew jealous of Astrophel gaining attention when their father, the King of the Skies, fell ill. Solaris did some digging into his brother's history and found that he was the product of their mother's affair, meaning that if he could only get this knowledge out, Solaris would be the rightful heir. During a party held for their mother, Solaris brought his brother outside and threatened him with the new found information. Eventually their argument grew heated and The King came outside to break up the fight that was brewing. The King was disappointed in the princes for taking such a public approach and decided they both required a punishment. They were sent to the mortal realm, forced to live the life of the beings they looked down on. Now, they both attempt to navigate the feelings of others as well as each other's differing opinions.
