Studding Services
This male lion is offering studding services, for a price of 1 GB OR 250 SB. Lionesses must have a minimum of 1% fertility to breed.

This male lion has 11/15 studding slots left open this week.

* Selecting an item to send with the request will remove the item from your hoard and apply it to the stud if your request is accepted. If your request is removed or denied for any reason the item will be returned to you. Multiple items can be sent at the same time providing they do not cancel each other out in their effects.

* Breeding to a mutated stud does not affect your chances of conceiving a mutated cub unless the stud is a variation of piebald or primal.

WIFE!!!

Sadivi is a big lion. Probably the same size, if not bigger, than a primal. He grew oddly fast in his cubhood and possesses an immense amount of raw strength - one of the theorised reasons why he was chosen by Amnesia to be the heir.

"If you are not willing to spill blood for your pride, perhaps I was wrong in my choice."
"The sun runs in your blood, sand is your fur, and the cacti are your claws. Your lifeblood runs deep in the core of our creation, may you protect it and its habitants with the power I once had."

Stinging. Horrible, horrible pain. His eyes were stabbed by little grains of sand. Hisses pierced the thick hot air, burning on the tongues of the serpents that emitted them. He could feel them circling, yet they would not go near, as if prevented by.. something.
'Welcome, little ray.'
A familiar, warm voice spoke. It came from nowhere and everywhere, bouncing off the walls of his confining prison of sand. It felt.. nostalgic, even though he had no memories. It felt like home. The pain in his stiff limbs dulled as if by the nice voices' command and he felt the ground beneath him disappear as he was picked up.
'Open your eyes, little one. You must.' The voice uttered once more, firmer this time. Silence, blissful silence for a moment. His eyes opened a slit and he recoiled at the bright rays of the sun before he got used to its heat. The height made his heart race, he could see the distant dunes, and the pool of cool water
where was this..? He gazed down at his paws - or rather, lack of them. All he could see was the frail mist that lingered around his body, blurring his vision. He craned his head upwards to see the owner of the voice.
Nothing. He blinked, confusion evident in his eyes.
The next thing he knew he felt warm. Fuzzy fur brushed against his and he could stretch out newly formed limbs. Before he could mull over this his thoughts were cut off by the rasp of a tongue over his fluffy head, chatter filling his ears. He gazed up at his new mother and immediately felt a surge of exhaustion, slumping his small head down onto the lioness' paw. What was he trying to think about..? Probly nothing important... why was he so tired..? He couldn't remember..

Akin to the powerful deity "Auternus", joined by their names.

Tension able to be broken by a claw crackled in the air, snarls piercing the night. A rosetted lioness hisses and stood in front of her cub, muscles rippled under her thin coat of dusky fur. The bloody figure of her pride member was more menacing then reassuring as the dark furred lioness approached with the intent to kill, claws dragging over the stones towards their newborn target. 'Ocelot'tuft, back down.' The queen warned, keeping away from the conflict. Worry glistened behind Amnesia's clouded eyes as she was answered, barely dodging a swipe to the face.

The winged lioness' eyes narrow, glaring down at the pride member who had dared swipe at her. 'I know you are worried for him, but he cannot survive. We cannot deny the clear omen-'
'An omen by who's words?' Ocelot'tuft hissed through gritted teeth, backing away from her leader. She unsheathed her claws, covering her squealing cub protectively.
Amnesia sighed exasperatedly. 'The spirits cannot wait for this, Ocelot'tuft. This cub wont survive. But if it means this much to you, you may have time..' The queen shook her head and stepped back, frowning at the disappointed huff of the executioner. Relief warmed Ocelot'tuft's face, her tensed muscles relaxing as she curled around her cub.

Unknown to the mortal lions of the desert, this cub was more then just an Omen.

The mother smiled, gazing lovingly at her cub and nuzzling her head against its creamish long fur. The little thing purred, curling its little head near his back hooves. Ocelot'tuft rasped her tongue over her child's head as she settled on a name. This cub was more then her, he was everything. He was 'Sadīvī.'

Moons later..

Sand made its way up into his lungs as Sadivi coughed and spluttered, recoiling and trying to desperately block his face with a large paw. It took him.a while but he managed to eventually compose himself, brushing off the humiliation seconds later. He stalked into the temple tentatively, every step more daunting then the last. Chipped sandstone walls confined the sacred ceremonial room from the dirty claws of outsiders and exiles, yet also trapped those forbidden to enter.

The walls had carved runes etched into their structure, never to be read by nonbloods unable to speak the Desert's tongue. Sadivi gives no attention to these likely important scriptures and strides past, paws gliding over the chalk-like floor as his hind hooves thud behind him. He stops at a tall door, pausing for just a moment to admire the sharp-lined pictures stabbed into the sand. It depicted the desert pride, and many serpents that coiled around them. Snake drawings surrounded the door like guards, their flat mouths agape in venomless danger. One image drew him in almost immediately, etched right in the centre of the door. A lion atop the head of a snake, surrounded by their kin.

Sadivi smiles softly, excitement itching at his paws. That would be him eventually. King of the Desert. What a title! Anpu knows why Amnesia chose him, but he was shut down whenever he asked. The queen had trained him enough, soon he'd take her throne. The massive lion's thoughts slowed as he thought about this. Take her throne. He wasn't too eager for Amnesia to die. She was like a second mother to him, even if she was a little strange.

Sadivi shook the thoughts away with a husky growl and pushed the door open, using all his force to shove open the ancient stone. It flew ajar after a bit of a struggle and caused the soon-to-be king to stumble for a grip before he fell down a flight of poorly placed stairs. Just saving himself from getting a flattened face by catching his paw on the edge of a step, Sadivi sighed deeply with relief. Who put stairs in a temple? The lion murmurs something to himself, brushing the surprise off and ignoring the loud beating of his heart in his chest.

(Adding more later when i regain the will to live. And i can buy more tea.)

King's log

First week.

I got kinged a while ago. Amnesia got sucked into the void by a giant snake entity, so I'm in charge now fully! Not fully certain what I can do with that.
I keep hearing really, really audible hisses. Like full words. Nobody notices anything up and I can't understand the language. Maybe the allseers can teach me.

Found out this thing called "studding". Look at that! I'm a dad! Haven't actually spoken to any of the pretty ladies fully, but the odd looking fork in the sky told me I has two rosette cubs. Not quite sure what that means, but it seemed good! And the services get me shiny beetles. Those things are so hard to find though, and the weird cubs keep stealing them as pets..
Can lions go bankrupt..?

Oh well.
The holy fork said they were disappointed my cubs were bad, which I found really offensive. So offended i looked to Murphy for consolation, him being a snake. And guess what? The raw celery stick asked me to take down rhinos! Who does he think I am, Sekhmet?

Anyways. The cubs were apparently "potatoes". I hadn't passed my "base" or "mutation". I assume all these words are a different language in the holy forks ancient tongue.
One of my wives has the AUDACITY to name one of my daughters "UGLY ROSETTE'. Pardon? No fur shaming here, she's beautiful just the way she is.

Week two - valentines day

I didn't have a valentines today, no worries! Mwezti was fun to hang out with anyway. There wasn't much going on other then a weird abundance of relationships everywhere. Who has a date in the desert? How didn't the Famine chase them off?

Me and my group stuck together through most of the day and had fermented marula! I haven't tried it before but it was so weird tasting. Felt a little funky after the 30th one but the Holy fork said I needed energy to go exploring and get these weird shell things. Where did the shells even come from? We're in a desert for anpu's sake!
