King lore ideas (still a wip)
The old king was told that he has a shaman guide who will find him in all his lives. The prophecy states that all the pride kings will always be the cause of death for this shaman. Vaderan, the last king, discovers that a caracal was the shaman in the next life.
Suddenly, they encounter a stranger lion who intrudes into their land and hunts the young caracal. Furious, Vaderan threatens to kill the stranger, but then realizes that he's the next king. When Vaderan retires, Adarken is crowned king, but he harbors pure evil inside.
After the grandpaw dies, Adarken kills many of the pride members. As a result, the death god strikes him with lightning during a rainstorm and allows many spirits to possess him, including Vaderan, this was to control his behavior. Subsequently, a terrible drought hits the lands as a curse, and a new prophecy shows, "when the water returns, Adarken will die!.
At some point, Adarken discovers all the spirits' dead bodies that possessed him; they are ancient primal lions submerged in resin in a cave.

A tiny, shivering caracal cub is in front of you, scared to death and orphaned due to poaching.
You growl at the cub, catching its attention. It seems to crawl closer and curls up on top of your paws, seeking warmth. You let it rest in the safe presence of your powerful claws, protecting it for the rest of the day, until you both part ways.

You spot an injured, limping caracal, and wonder if it got into a fight with a hyena. You're not sure how serious the injury is. There's a possibility it has a chance to heal quickly, but it could also be a broken bone...
You decide to help and offer the caracal a place to stay in your own pride. Once you two arrive, you inform everyone to leave the creature alone so that they can recover. The injured feline seems a bit stronger right away from experiencing your kindness. The injury turns out to be a light one, and the caracal is ready to continue on its journey soon enough, though they leave you with a small gift before parting ways.
(this is when Adarken appears in the storyline, he catches the young caracal after leaving the pride)
