So Cervid striked a deal, in exchange for the thing slowing them down he would allow them on his lands & safe travels along his alliances. A shaman "Bohmo papossa" (or often called Bohmo) led Cervid to the young cubs, peering over Bohmo softly asked Cervid "Does one look different from the others?" Cervids eyes locked on the young cub with hooves & antlers. "Im quite sure, when shall I take him?'' Bohmo explained to Cervid how she will tell the cub about Cervid, along with his land. While the cub fought this he refused to go, he refused to be abandoned. Bohmo told Cervid of how she would fog his memory permanently, while Cervid was against it he finally agreed. Two nights before the shamans left she fogged the cubs memory's & gave him a new name "Rangifer" under the cover of night she left Rangifer in Cervids den. While the shamans moved on & December came, along with the cold. Rangifer became more lively as the cold rolled in, there was a slight problem though. Cervid caught Rangifer painting himself with shaman paint. Cervid decided to let Rangifer learn under the wing of the prides shaman, just learning the use of herbs & medicine so when he became the king he would be able to medically tend to his pride mates. While Cervid thought he would have many years but, he was wounded while hunting. Far out from his lands he collapsed when nearing his territory. Rangifer was patrolling when he saw Cervid laying in the snuh, when Rangifer saw his shallow breathing he ran to Cervid quickly pulling herbs from his pouch & treating Cervids wounds. Cervid whispered in between breaths ''The thrown, is yours..." (under construction) leaving the heir to be kinged in less than a day.
