Cast in the shadows of his eldest estranged brother, Kavaar, Childrek has been alone for years. The two had grown up constantly competing, as their father, former king of what is now Kavaar's pride, had only said his heir would be chosen from the victor of his sons' inevitable fight. As cubs, they always tried to outdo each other in lessons, and as young adults, the scuffs grew progressively more violent and heated until the battle for the pride's heir began. It was an easy fight. Kavaar was much stronger than his younger brother, and their father knew it. With tears in his eyes, the former king watched as Kavaar chased Childrek away, forbidding him to ever enter the territory again. The young castaway wandered for years, bouncing from clan to clan until he finally managed to make claim on a small amount of territory in the jungle. With the claiming of a few lionesses, he plans to begin his own legacy, and while his spirit is not that of a vengeful one, he still holds a harsh animosity towards Kavaar and his pride.
