Biography
Mlungisi was the oldest of three cubs. His mother had died when they were born, so their father Ingiyab raised them. The youngest cub (Mlungisi's sister) Nkosazana had died during birth. So it left just him and his brother Chaka. The three had traveled long and far, hoping to find a pride to settle down in. Their luck was none it seemed. Hunger was driving their father mad and the two brothers were starting to have sickness. Ingiyab had suddenly found a certain pride that had agreed to take in only the cubs. At first their father had nearly tried to fight the Pride leader, but he eventually gave in and left. The two brothers never saw their father again. The two brothers were then raised by Mbali. She was graceful and caring and loved by the pride. The day Chaka had fallen truly ill and eventually died had shaken Mbali so much she nearly left her pride. Mlungisi had convinced her to stay, promising that if she did he'd become Pride Leader. It had moved Mbali so much at his efforts that she agreed. Of course the whole pride was shocked at the little one's death, and mourning was long. During Chaka's death, the Pride had been forced to move. Another, stronger pride had settled in, and pushed them out. Mlungisi had grown into a young adult by the time they had settled down near an abandon human camp. The old pride leader Manqoba had made Mlungisi's friend Sifiso Pride Leader in his dying moments. Mlungisi was sadden and angered, but he knew Manqoba meant well. Mlungisi decided it was best he left to start his own, so he wished his adoptive pride farewell.
