Deep in the darkest parts of the jungle, where the howls of unknown creatures echo around you and the thunder of a waterfall shakes the very earth, lies Cogar Oíche. An enormous tree shelters them from the elements and they live among it's roots, thriving in the shadows that would send others running, tail between their legs. Four dens are carved out into the thick stone at the base of the tree and supported by its branches. One for the huntress and warriors, towards the front, to protect their pride. One for the broodmothers and their cubs, hidden deep within and guarded by the heir. Another for the shamans and healers, to learn in the ways of the spirits and practice dark arts, and a final den for the king, with the stories of the pride carved into the tree and rock.

Under the reign of Artemis

Cogar Oíche, once ruled by a noble and true lion, has been corrupted. Our previous king was slaughtered in front of his pride and his name scratched from the histories. We are forbidden to speak his name and his dynasty has been destroyed. What was once a safe haven for outcasts and strays has become a viscous and vengeful group of lions.
Artemis is a tyrant and kills any lion who dares to defy him. He murders cubs if he is displeased with them and most of his lionesses bear the scars of his temper. Few escape his rage and those who try to flee are hunted down. It is a pride of fear and violence. Sister against sister and cub against mother.
