With heat blistered paw pads and a parched throat, you trudge over dunes of sand. The waves of heat began to obstruct your vision, causing you to squint your eyes through the sand. In the distance you're able to make out a faint structure .. it looks like a pyramid. You want to believe it's your mind playing tricks on you, a hallucination from the heat.. but what choice do you have? You begin your trek over to the distant building, hoping to find shelter.

After about 30 minutes of dragging your paws through the sand, you're exhausted, out of breath. You pull yourself up the steep, cracked sandstone staircase, yearning for the shade that the structure provides within. Once you've hauled yourself to the top, you collapse on the floor in the doorway, wheezing for air .. when suddenly a low canid type growl fills your audits. You look up and your hackles raise, a snarling, albino wolf is a mere few feet away from you, growling ferociously. With struggle, you bring yourself to your paws, prepared to fight ..

"Aziza my dear, relax." A low, feminine voice rings from behind the feral canine, its word's calming the beast before your very eyes. A large, muscular lioness adorned in gold Egyptian attire, rubies, and diluted maroon fabrics steps out of the shadows to greet you, "My, you've sure been through it, haven't you traveler." A few other lioness' that seemed to have been hiding in the shadows stepped forwards and revealed their dim shadows .. there was an entire pride in there! The hibiscus coated queen waved her tail to calm her wives, daughters, and others. "We'll help you get back on your paws, few lions make it this far through the desert, so I applaud you." She speaks.

After a few hours of resting and being treated, you wander around the pyramid.. you had been given water from an indoor fountain that produced spring water, your blistered paws were treated by the shaman, and your hunger was satisfied by some strange fruits. You find the queen of the pride surrounded by a few of what you assumed to be her daughters as they shared the same mutation markings.. they scatter shyly once you approach. "Don't mind them, they're not used to seeing travelers." You offer a weak smile, sitting as your paws begin to grow sore, "I'm Queen Zeria .. the humble queen of this pride." Her red eyes glint at you, although they're rather intimidating, they don't seem threatening. "Stay as long as you need, so long as you cause no issues you're welcome here as long as you'd like."
