the king:
Not long after he started his pride, the king was floored to discover he was one of the weakest lions of the lands. Vowing to hone his skills and become the strongest lion he could be, he takes nearly every opportunity he can to grow stronger, even sparring with lionesses, despite it being an unpopular choice he gets flak for.

But, he isn't without heart, as he has his pride tend to those he spars with. He helps lost cubs and pups reunite with their families, feeds the hungry and guides the thirsty to the nearest waterhole, although the same kindness isn't usually extended to prey. He can't help but to pounce on an adorable, defenseless dik dik from time to time. Food is food, after all.

He has a pet crocodile named Snaps, short for Snapper. Seemingly orphaned, he found the baby crocodile stealing and gnawing on goods in the Flood Pit. He paid for the damages, and took it back home with him. It follows him around whenever it can now.

[Entry 1]
The king has started his pride! It's steadily grown in size. While lions have come and gone, it looks like several new faces are here to stay.

[Entry 2]
The king brought back a baby crocodile! There's concern, murmurs, and side glances in the pride, but the king assures he has a handle on it, and the little croc has been nothing short of friendly. Still a few keep their distance.

[Entry 3]
Cubs were born into the pride for the first time, heralding the second generation. And, look, one of them was even a mutie! Everyone is in awe of the felis primal... and the other cubs too, of course.

[Entry 4]
Now that the cubs are older, most of them have started avoiding one pride lioness, Frostine, calling her the Snow Queen. It turns out that Tanoshii told them a tale of a lioness of the same title, who cast the world in ice and snow and raised armies of snuhlions to carry out her evildoings. Frostine's similarities to this Snow Queen character has raised the cubs' suspicions.

[Entry 5]
Oh no! During the wet season, Nyviah and Binti were playing down in a gorge when a flash flood came and washed the two cubs away! The pride split up into multiple search parties, but no one was able to find them. Their mother, Mitani, is devastated.

[Entry 6]
Poachers have returned to the land of lions! Silverstreak was shot during a skirmish with a group of poachers. Thankfully, it wasn't fatal. The pride's up and coming shaman, Eiry, is working hard to heal her and get her back on her feet. Until then, Silverstreak has been ordered to rest.
