The Day's Horizon Pride are followers of the Three Bringers (The Sisters) And the One above, 'The Sun'
Their Culture and Traditions are heavily impacted by the day cycles.

The Pride was ruled over the bloodline of King Sun & Queen Snake. Every Queen that came after Queen Snake was their blood until King Sunkisser stole the pride from his father King Sargon The Second, eradicating the original pride's royal bloodline and creating a new royal bloodline. Not only did King Sunkisser steal the pride, Queen Cobra whose name was once Jackal, changed her name to Cobra, stealing the former bloodlines tradition. Sadly laxter, Queen Cobra succumbed to old age, and King Consort Python vanished from the lands and the majority of the pride, this to some is seen as karma from the gods for what Sunkisser did.

When the First King, Sun was an adolescent he wandered the lands of Africa until he met an adolescent lioness named Snake. Snake was under the leadership of a tyrannical king. Snake and Sun met in secret for many moons becoming close companions, until one moon they knew that they had to overthrow the King. A civil war sparked in the pride, and that war was ongoing for many moons until eventually, Sun won. Sun took Snake to be his Queen; having much kindness in his heart Sun took Vader who was the last remaining son of the former king under his wing, hoping to raise the cub to become his heir. Unfortunately, Vader grew up to be like his father, bringing horrors back to the pride when Sun had passed. Lizard who was Vader's Queen wasn't as strong or as brave as her mother so she idly stood by much to the frustrations of her daughter Komodo. Komodo left the pride to venture to the Giving Tree where she met a lioness named Violin. The two just like Sun and Snake became close friends and eventually returned back to the pride to stand up against Vader. Komodo with the power of her birthright and the strength of the Goddess Theluji & Upepo took down Vader. Komodo became Queen alongside Violin whom she had married. This brought much despair to the pride, the pride needed a king to sire new cubs, not two queens. Komodo was seen as the true Queen, While the pride expected Violin to behave like a King the free-spirited lioness behaved much more like a lone lioness than a Queen. Komodo produced an heir with an outside male lion where she brought the cub back to be raised by herself and Violin. When Violin was reaching her final days, the pride still full of conflict, a male lion by the name of Sargon came to the land. He gained the favour of the Queen's Heir, Skink. Skink and Sargon were mated not too long after Violin's death. Sargon was a strong and well-respected King, he brought back respect and dignity to the Pride his leadership being better than the Pride's first king, Sun. Although Sargon and Skink proved to be the greatest Kings and Queens of pride their successors were that of the opposite. King Sargon II and Queen Boa were marked down in history as the worst. King Sargon II often found himself busy with other lionesses in the pride while Queen Boa was rarely even seen in the pride's territory. The two that once loved each other quickly grew to hate each other not long into their rule. The two didn't even produce a viable heir, making it easy for a male lion named Sunkisser (a bastard child of Sargon II) to take over his father's pride while his chosen mate, Jackal a distant descendant of the tyrannical king Sun overthrew, took down Queen Boa and stole her traditional name dubbing herself Queen Cobra. King Sunkisser The Second, would be in his life a gentle leader. He would move the pride away from their desert location to a beautiful field, his leadership would be aided by Queen Iguana, the Daughter of King Sunkisser I and Queen Consort Python as Queen Boa failed to produce a worthy heir. They would have a quiet ruling period.

Although the conditions of King Sunkisser's takeover was violent and disrespectful, the lion has proved himself to be one of the greatest kings the pride has ever seen. He wants to show that he is better than his predecessors and that he will bring back the glory to the pride just as Sun and Sargon the First had brought.

Due to the Greatness of The Rulership of King Sargon I and King Sunkisser I's, the Gods gifted the two a reincarnation, there would be a cub of their exact coat; although would have the markings (piebald) that indicated that they were kissed by the Gods.

The bloodlines of the old kings would cease to exist by the Eighth Rule, and the Ninth rule established a new dominant bloodline.
