Jiwe la Baridi's Den

As you continue to explore, you start to feel dizzy. You keep stumbling on, but soon you realize you accidentally walked right into another lion's territory! You turn around quick but almost run right into young lioness. She holds herself in an authoritative way, so you know she must be a proud queen. "Hello, traveler!" She speaks in a friendly, protective way. "I am Malabu, leader of Fire Pride. You look like you need water and rest; please, come with me." Malabu walks around you and towards an oasis a little farther on. You reluctantly follow her. After you reach the shade of the trees, you see a huge pond. You rush towards it and drink until you feel stronger. Malabu sits with you until you are done, then stands once more. "Come, you need rest. You can stay here as long as you like. My pride is just beyond these trees." She leads you into a clearing, and it amazes you. The trees at the edges of the clearing come together in the middle to make a huge leaf dome, and at the far side is a sheer cliff. There are lionesses laying in the shade together, talking about hunts and responsibilities. Submales are returning from patrols, checking in with Malabu. Cubs run around and play together in the beautiful shade. "Feel free to call any lionesses over if you need anything." Malabu says before walking back through the bushes behind you, probably to patrol her territory. You find a comfortable place to rest before you do anything else. 'I wonder how long it took to make this camp....?' You think as you watch the prides' every day life go on. You decide to look around after you're ready.........
