Hi, my name is Bee:) I am a very happy person whom loves all insects (except mosquitos) ESPECIALLY bees, ants, and beetles. Insects are awesome freaking sauce. I also happen to be a proud beekeeper of one very stubborn beehive, named "Hellbringers". I also happen to be an antkeeper of many colonies and many different species! I soon plan to start my own business in pottery and once i have more hives, beekeeping aswell.

I post fun insect (mostly bee) facts below

Ff: Bees have their own language, using mainly; Dances, Vibrations, and Geometry.
An example of vibrations is that when bees in the hive bump into eachother, they will make a small "Bzp!" sound, as if to say "Oops!" or "Excuse me!"
An example of Dances + Geometry is that bees will use geometry and dance to show Location of hive compared to the sun that points at the pollen resource, the longer the duration of the dance, the farther the resource is from the hive.

Ff: Bees cannot fly when it is dark out, because they essentially lose all their senses. Bees have compound eyes that are used to detect patterns and shapes, and they have Ocellus eyes used for detecting light, which all work with the antennae to feel and sense vibration.

Ff: Bees are NOT a monarchy like most expect, but in fact a democracy! All bees in the hive work together using their "Hive mind" to communicate and organize. Queen bees do not rule a hive, but the workers will attend to her and meet all her needs for the sake of the colony's future, and as well do everything in their power to keep her comfortable so she may continue laying.
If a queen bee does NOT do her job well, is too needy and nothing the bees do helps, Shes not laying as much as she used to or is getting old, they will simply kill her and create a new queen.

Ff: A queen lifespan is around 2-4 years, while a summertime worker is only 1 month, and wintertime workers is. 1-3 months.

Ff: Every single bee in the hive has their own job according to what they seem good at and their age. Newbees (newly hatched bees) will stay in the hive and do hive duties, mainly watching over other baby bees and learning to build After 5-7 days, newbies will start learning how to fly, the majority of bees this age will spend their days gathering nectar and pollen, and once they get older they often branch off into many different hive duties, which mainly consist of Royal guard (Queens assistance) Builder, Baby-bee sitter, Hive guard, Air conditioner (more common in hotter times), and undertakers + SO much more!

Ff: Recent evidence suggests that each bee has their own conscious, and that bees can also feel emotion in a way people do, they can express anger, happiness, stress, and even depression.
