Welcome to the Ridgeline Pride
The strength of the lion is the Pride,
The strength of the Pride is the Lion.

Beyond the african plains, to the north, hidden among jagged ridges, mountains and slopes, resides the Ridgeline Pride.
Originally formed by a lone smilus Male, named Archie.
Led away from famine, disaster & anything else that poses a threat, Archie gathered his followers and fled to the higher grounds of the north. The pride has resided ever since in their now well claimed Pridelands.
No ordinary pride, The Ridgelines are one of mystery, mayhem, and even a little magic.
Functioning quite similarly to their 3rd world human neighbors, The Tribes of Africa.

Many lions pass through these lands, but few stay. Those who stay follow the ways and beliefs of the Ridgeline Pride, growing stronger by the years, as well as their abilities..
This pride is host to a very powerful Covent, as well as Shamans, who constantly dabble in light, as well as dark rituals..
God help this pride.

Since Archie's Passing, the pride has remained under his lines control, despite many attempts from neighboring prides to overtake the mountainous lions.
Currently, Archie's son,
Arkavi
Rules and leads the Ridgeline Pride.
As of February 2023, Arkavi will retire, leaving the Pride to his son, Amani.

Arkavi fell from power on February 7th, 2023. His son Amani did not gain leadership as planned.
Amani escaped with a few lionesses, and survives on the outskirts of the Ridgeline Pridelands, plotting to retake the Pride.

The sun rose on the morning of the 7th, along with the morning Ray's came a large primal, ready to take the pride by any means necessary. Sparing Arkavis life, alowing him to live out his life as the new sub-Male of the pride, new king Amun-Raa banished his chosen heir Amani to the outside of the Rideline Prides mountian range, ready to begin his rule.
