A nomadic & shamanic pride that is often found roaming the endless deserts and savannahs of Afrika, at times some of their pride members would be found in small oasis' for replenishment, or a more populated area such as ones with dense & lively foliage. But the best bet to meet this reserved pride is to find their main territory, one that is located far & deep in the most unpopulated area of South Afrika. With a decent nose and brain, anyone could find it with beyond much ease..

The Toukiux pride claims to originally be part of another pride that was called the Noyakiux pride, but that pride was unknown by many and the last member of the pride deceased many years ago. They still appreciate their origins though, and often tell newcomers that they are proudly of the Noyakiux lion blood and have only left the Noyakiux pride because a group of lions seek adventure, not the soft and calming lifestyle of their former pride.

One of the most noticeable feature that can help you identify whether a leo is part of the Toukiux pride or not, is by their movement. Lions part of this group all move in a way that is almost bird-like in a way, often having random jolts of spiked movement in their step alongside their head swaying side to side to continuously make direct eye-contact with whoever they're looking at, or whatever they're looking at. Their tails slither in a snake-like manner, at times confusing those who are unaware of the Toukiux movement believing that their tail is some kind of sand snake.

Despite separating from their kin many years ago, the Toukiux still hold many ceremonies, singing out to their ancestors & pagan spirits while dancing around a bonfire every single night as the moon is high while the stars glimmer down on them. They believe that the stars are the eyes of their ancestors and loved ones, often finding much comfort in just staring at the night sky for hours on end. Toukiux lions are heavily decorated while participating in these dances or ceremonies, adorned in the pelts, bones and tusks of the unfortunate souls to fell to death by them or by another, as they want everyone to experience one last lovely dance before they completely reach the afterlife. In consequence to this, the lions often smell like barely rotting meat since they purposely search & harvest the more fresh corpses, but they do keep the remains if they can, allowing them to dry out and remove the smell for more use later on.

The Toukiux often do not use full or proper words when chanting their songs around their bonfires, mostly only singing a rhythmic beat to dance to, but when they do it is usually when they are throat-singing. Their bone decorations banging against each other also create a sound that can not be made by voice alone, which is one of the reasons why Toukiux adorn themselves with so much of it. Other than the sounds that their accessories & voice can make, there are many more sounds that is included in their music that only instruments such as the drums or didgeridoo can produce.

When the pride is not having a celebration, their accessories are very subtle and just provide some kind of characterization to themselves, since most of the Toukiux lions look quite similar to each other, obviously being the direct offspring of Reptile of Nile Creek. The only lionesses that do not appear to look related to the leader of the pride are the ones that were sired by another king, as this pride do not partake in having such relationships with their blood-related kin, for they find it revolting to have such inbreeding.

The naming of the Toukiux lions is quite unique compared to some others, at first they will be named with some kind of short sentence or what their parents believe that they would grow up to be like, later on being given a proper more normalised name as they reach two years old. However, for the lions who will grow up to be the leader of the pride are named slightly differently, being given a name that would hopefully strike fear into their opponents as they hear their name.

The Toukiux leader is a wise and respected figure within his pride. He has been the leader for many years, and has a patient and thoughtful demeanour. Despite his advanced age, being over ten years old, he is still physically strong and capable, and his noticeable presence commands attention and respect from all those within range. He may not have the same endurance and energy as a younger, more active lion, but his years of experience and knowledge are valuable assets to the pride, and he serves as a valuable source of advice and guidance to those who need it.

Reptile of Nile Creek is a source of stability and security for his pride and is loved and respected by all those who know him. The only visible problematic trait about him is that he is very unwelcoming of outsiders who enter his pride's current resting camp, whether the outsider is a female or male, he does not take their unwanted entry very kindly and will often resort to aggression immediately, eventually leading up to physical violence in some cases.
His informal name is Askari.

A well-camouflaged feline suddenly appeared infront of you, seeming to have just coincidentally crossed
on the same path as you. The lion stood there quietly, his posture relaxed yet his muscles were tensed. You
apologised to the older male for walking on what you think is his territory, before he nodded and walked past
without saying a single word. Oh, what's this? Looks like he dropped a gift beside you. +10 Silver Beetles
